Ok for your cleaning business I am not sure if you are not getting enough work , but let's assume you are.
Make Posting on Craigslist for Skill Trade ( that should get you some more work ).

If you were thinking in doing something that you could make some extra income to assist with the challenges of having a new business. I would suggest Internet Marketing ; learnmoremarketingnow.biz I know that this site is determined to have you become a Wealthy Affiliate. take a quick look i guarantee you will be impressed.

Best of luck in your journey

Contacting existing clients with personal cards (birthday, thank you, happy holidays, etc.) brings in lots of referrals and is inexpensive (can be done for as little as $.62 per card) compared to newpaper ads, etc. This marketing technique really gets results because so few people do it.

Do you have a van with a sign on it? If not, make a huge sign with your site or your phone number and company name on it. Don't make it too complicated. Just enough information to let people know how to reach you.

Then get some white t-shirts made with your name and number/site. DON'T USE A LOGO! Just give them a way to reach you.

I know this is getting expensive, but you should be able to do all of this for less than $300. If you have to, just take a black marker to some white fruit-of-the-loom shirts.

Now go downtown and find a few beggars. Or go get some kids from the neighborhood. Dress them all in a t-shirt (maybe pay them $20 each) and drive to your nearest public park...or maybe a well traveled road that has a lot of trash. Give them each a plastic bag and get them cleaning.

Exactly one week later, do the same thing. Only this time, call your local news station and tell them about it.

You'll get more business out of that one stunt than all the advertising in the world.

A web url on car works very good. Have one on my own car. :) Pretty funny to watch how traffic increases from regions I've just been driving around. :)

    * Post on craigslist, backpage etc
    * get some free business cards from vistaprint and get your URL on - hand these out
    * Write some article and ensure your site is seo optimized
    * contact friends etc and comment on blogs about cleaning to build up relationships and get referals

    May I ask:

    1. What did you do to get the clients you have now?
    2. Why would I buy your cleaning services as opposed to someone else?
    3. What type of marketing plan do you have in place?
    4. What advertising are you doing?

You can PM me or post here...
