Clean URL in Drupal

    Hi
    I have recently hosted a site in Drupal. I want to enable clean-urls on my site. But For that, I need to change configuration in Apache. I am referring to this post http://drupal.org/node/15365.

    But my service provider's policy is not to allow individual changes in shared servers, which makes sense.

    Has anybody encountered such issue, please let me know.

    Thanks for that but Clean URL Text fails as the Apache is not configured (the rewrite module)
