Free ads should only appear as markers on the map. This requires wordpress admin settings as well as coding. As soon as this is done, I will make the site live and start making money. 2. Login/Register and security needs to work smoothly (including in header) to prevent spam and allow user tracking and controls. Facebook connect required with facebook pic as avatar. 3. A cookie needs to be left on user's computer to remember preferences (map view and checked categories) for next visit. 4. calendar system needs to be created to my description: each date will contain text-time boxes for starting time on the Place an Ad page. For users, the calendar will be cleverly designed by myself and developer for best user experience. One of the four calendars will be loosely based on arshaw.com/fullcalendar/. 5. Categories with subcategories need to be coded to be unlisted on 'post an ad' page and elsewhere, and Uncategorized listings need to not appear on map. In other words, categories that have subcategories are simply organisational headers - wordpress simply calls them 'categories' to confuse everyone 6. jcrop needs to be incorporated into image upload system so that advertisers can create perfect thumbnails extremely easily (similar to buddypress avatar uploads or facebook profile pic uploads) Entire image system needs to be smooth with 100% quality 7. the list display needs to be a lot more modern- a grid of images with writing over a shaded area under the bottom of each image (thumbnails will be cropped and sized by jcrop or something) and the list sidebar needs to be expandable with one click. 8. height dimensions of page need to be 100% rather than 600px so it works on all devices. Width is already fluid (percentage rather than pixels) the code for this should be in home_map_widget.php. For some reason height percentages are not working - might be style conflict. 9. listing text information /dialogue box on map needs to be decided by admin, specific to category. eg Thumbnail, Title, Date Range, Address so the speech bubbles are professional similar to maps.google.com. 10. every page of website needs to appear in jquery shadowbox with individual url (or similar share button) so that the user never leaves the home page (this is a one page website) we will discuss layout on skype for ad post layout. 11. the edit page needs to be the same as the place an ad page. At the moment the problem is that the edit page is the wordpress backend. 12. map needs to fit space without becoming narrow and showing the world more than once (at the moment if a user zooms out to maximum level the earth repeats five times - on maps.google.com this problem does not occur) default map should be TERRAIN - I use google maps v3 and google earth. Map speech bubbles need to go away when a different one is clicked and thumbnails need to be clickable. Map speech bubbles need more options. Content will be determined by admin. This functionality may be available with version 4 files of geoplaces theme very soon. Also, any errors relating to any maps need to be fixed. 13. SORT BY control in results sidebar will allow user to sort by soonest event, a-z, z-a etc. 14. category selection, search box, address override and calendar will need to be made into beautiful interface. This will include header design etc so website is beautiful. Animation required for buttons and sidebars etc. Mapquest.com is a pretty good interface. 15. Remove superfluous residual code from Geoplaces theme that will confuse future coding work.
