Selling ClassicMoovies - Online Movies Website - Made $720 First Month

Introduction

A website I originally wanted to have as a typo domain, this never worked out and so for 2 years I had it running as a 100 UV a month trailer, amazon affiliate website that made a few cents a month. Early September I decided to make the site into a movie site, with a CPALead gateway. I advertised and it appeared to pay off, within the first month I made $700 with under 1 hours work a day.

The domain has been registered at Godaddy for 2 years now, it expires rather soon, however I will renew it before I push it to the buyer.

Auto Pilot?

I believe the site CAN be run on autopilot, for the last week and a half of the month, I let it run on it's own. It made less money, however I didn't need to work on it AT ALL! The site can make good money on auto pilot, you could hire people to do the work for you which would be cheap for a big profit, however it is easy to get everything together and only spend an hour or two a week on this site and still make some decent money.

Could I make more?

I believe you could, CPALead surveys although very easy to set-up can pay a little low at times. Using another gateway, I suppose you could make a bit more for each survey and really cash in. This is however up to you and I believe CPALead is perfect for this kind of site; regardless of what it pays.

Is this ethical?

Completely, the site offers what the viewers want, however the only thing is they need to fill in a survey. This is where you make the money, users are not forced to fill in surveys, they either fill them in and watch the movie, or choose not too and move onto another website. The site only links to videos on other peoples surveys, so it is perfectly ethical and an opportunity to make money arises.

Will I show you what to do?

One thing I want to make clear is I will not run the site for you, I will however show you all the sources on how I get traffic and how I am able to get videos and links to videos for my viewers. Everything is free, I did not pay for any promotion and like I said spent little time working on getting traffic. You could ideally double or triple your income with a little more work.

Traffic + Revenue Details
I make money via the CPALead gateway.

1) User visits my site
2) Gateway appears
3) User fills in survey
4) I get paid for the survey submit and the user gets to watch the movie!

Traffic comes from Youtube mainly, I have a few other sources you can try to get traffic from. I was able to earlier on in the month, but couldn't as time passed due to rule changes. I will show you how to get traffic so there is no need to worry about that.

What is required to run the site and get traffic? Posting new video trailers or clips of the movies on Youtube? What software do you use to do this?

 

I do it manually, doesn't take much time and yes; using Youtube to get traffic.

I haven't experimented with other video sites, there is probably more money in it.
