All it takes for a featured link is a reciprical link. This will not change in the near future. Probably in early 2008, I will look at paid featured listings but for now I'm just looking for nice sites such as yours to populate my directory.

All of the links submitted to the proper categories have been approved. There have been over 300 links submitted by DP members, most of them are very nice web sites that any web directory would be proud to index, thank you all.

In any group there are a few people that don't (or can't) read submission guidelines. For example; why would anyone submit a site about adult sex toys or gambling to a web directory that clearly states that they do not accept such sites? Submitting to web directories is a learning curve for both the new directory owner and the website owner, it should be a mutual patnership or at the very least one should consider the other.

This experience has been a very good one for both me and my new web directory, by all means keep the link submissions coming HERE and again:

Finally caught up with all link submissions after 5 days of being behind. Some links were deleted, I hope they weren't from DP members but why would anyone submit unsuitable links to a directory that clearly states what types of links it accepts?

Those little inconveniences aside, I now have a web directory that is nearing design completion and has a good start to its links population.

Thank you for the submission. As a means of balancing the categories presentation on my directory home page, I have separated Recreation from the category Sports and Hobbies. There is a subcategory in Sports and Hobbies called Unique Pastimes where I felt your link should reside.

Where I thank everyone for their submissions and am extremely grateful to have my web directory populated so quickly, I wonder if some people can read?

Vibrators, massage therapy advertised with scantily clad young girls and naked pictures of both men and women unfortunately fall into the category of "adult" . . . and is not suitable for a general audience. When a web directory clearly states in its submission guidelines that it does not accept these types of sites, why would you submit them anyways?

All adult sites have been deleted.

All general audience sites have been approved - - thank you everyone.
