Classic horror games are still king...

I sold my physical copy of the game, Tormented Souls. But I noticed it was cheap to buy digitally. So I decided to get it because I didn't try it, basically until now. And the Silent Hill-like vibes are there. They are certainly there...

There's just something about fixed camera angles and having an emphasis on puzzle solving, and feeling like enemies are not gonna be a walk in the park. Unfortunately, this gameplay style is absolutely missing in games like Resident Evil 4, and that's the one game I feel wrecked the survival horror genre, when they made it villagers could drop stuff, such as ammo. But hey. I don't see them using any firearms. Do you?

Anyway, support indie gaming. For they can get it right. :D

One of the best horror films, in my opinion, is The Beast Inside

There's a guy on YouTube called NightCrawler. He posted some great rants on Resident Evil over the last few years, and he thinks the RE2 remake is trash.

And guess what? He's absolutely right!

Whenever I notice links in posts, I think it's from another bot. JoyFreak is a gaming forum that's full of 'em. :D

But I will assume this time that Skynet hasn't gotten to you.

Anyway, I sold off most of my horror games. I hadn't played a lot of them in well over 15 years. I think I put in more time reminding people on forums about how crappy Resident Evil became when Capcom started seeing dollar signs in their eyes. Which is a lot of the time, if I must be frank. :p

But hey. Silent Hill 2. The 8th of October, baby!

What do you think of the silent hill 2 remake? To me it seems much more action based(like resi4), and less psychological horror. Or maybe I am just being nostalgic for a game from when I was a kid

I thought there was an increase in enemies. Just about every area had the same three creatures, which felt repetitive.
