Sorry I am sure that I have asked this before but I am very forgetful.

I have three sites hosted on the same server, but each has a different IP

    210.5.54.86
    210.5.54.90
    210.5.54.98

One of these sites has 500,000+ pages (210.5.54.86), and at the bottom of each page is a link to the other two sites hosted on this server (210.5.54.90 , 210.5.54.98)

as these are the same class C ips, does google count the footer links as back links for the two sites in the same IP group at all? or are they totally 100% completly void because they are in the same IP range?

500,000 pages. Very impressive. Google might not count it as 100% completely void. there are about 180 backlinks to my fireworking user profile. Im ranked #3 in google for "fireworking". Google will count this and if you check backlinks on yahoo, you will see a lot of results. The problem is google might ban you because you have too much backlinks onto one website that just started linking immediately.

My guess is that they would have to see them as separate sites. I think (but am not sure) that google goes by the domain name as obviously the shared hosting industry means that one IP address can host several thousand sites. Also, google lists backlinks by the domain name not by the IP address. What would happen if 100 different web sites linked to me and say 10 of them happened to be on the same server / IP address as mine? Should I be punished for that? I think not. You are talking of sites on the same class C? I think that would be too much for them to regulate

Just reading your 2nd post and I think it's a rap. There's no way! If the sites have different domains and different IP's how can they possibly penalise you? For what? I'd understand if they went as far as to check the whois and saw that you owned all 3 but I've never been punished for linking my sites together. I think the plain answer is "no freakin way"

    210.5.54.86
    210.5.54.90
    210.5.54.98

is in same vlan class c ip, and it is not good in serp and linking it with same class c will drop your rankings also PR.

    a quick review
    Class C Ips
    210.5.1.1
    210.5.2.1

    not a class C Ips
    210.5.1.1
    210.5.1.2

Class c is important because BIG G will treat your site on how they communicate with other sites
