Have you been wronged by Shawn Hogan and his "company"? Please contact me if you would like to enter into a class action lawsuit. He has not given any support or updates to this software. We have been forced to switch to something different and he should be responsible. Please email me at crd914@hotmail.com

    Thanks!

What software package? What are you talking about?

And why the heck would we contact you with zero description as to what your real issue is?

What support have you NOT gotten?

I doubt anyone guarantees any certain level of support or updates...anyone can choose other software at any given time. Many softwares end up stale and unsupported... afraid there will be no legal recourse here.

i would also think so since this is in the optigold forum but it could also be for all software released.

If you are going to make a post like this it would be helpful for a little bit more information as to which package you are referring to, etc., etc. 9I am assuming Optigold ISP, but do not know for sure). Also, why not put this in the correct forum, you would probably get a better response?

if it was a paid package i could understand a lawsuit but if its free, i really dont think you have a leg to stand on,

specially not on how you started this argument

Yes, it is Optigold ISP that I am talking about. We are heavily invested with this software (>$10k) and now find the need to switch because there is no support or anyone answering phones. As well as no more updates.

Because the licenses are paid for and the support is part of it and so are the updates. This makes them responsible to his users to keep the software maintained and up to date. If he wants to EOL the software he should offer some upgrade to something else, or even make the software open so we can continue to develop our own flavor of it.

Shawn has instead taken our money and yours, and ran. He made what he wanted and now doesnt answer email or calls.

It is my intenet to force Mr. Hogan to keep his end of the deal if he wants to keep my money. It is a huge expense to move to another platform. Not to mention the headaches of having to have 2 systems to refer back to over the course of a couple years as well.

So yes, I am planning to sue. Yes, I would like to make it Class Action. Class Action simply means that 1 or more is joining the suit and has the same issues. Its a way of combining multiple suits into on. Its cleaner and cheaper for all parties involved.

So once again, if you are interested in this please contact me @ crd914[at]hotmail.com

    Thanks!
