Clarify my doubt about Divx DVD?

i have collections of divx movies in dvd.
When i tried play them in computer via dvd reader,the picture quality is very poor.
But playing it in divx compatible dvd player in tv renders good quality picture.
please clarify this doubt.

 

Probably due to the resolution you have your monitor set at if you are trying to play the divx at full screen.

 

no ,even at small screen it play very poor.
But i can play other videos in my pc without any problem

 

could be you don't have the correct or up to date codec's ?

Yes here I am agree with vagrant the problem is just due to resolution
and pc dont have perfaction like TV. So dont think there is problem
with your DVD reader its might be due to monitor be cause I am using
tv tunner card for tv on my pc but its not satisfy me.
