Rules Clarification on selling warez linking sites.

In the BST section/Freebies theres one clear rule.

In the BST section/Sites there are no rules, just suggestions.

Today I asked a Mod who was on line, about such a sale of a website in the BST section/Sites

I was told "right now there is no problem selling that site." the site and the mod will remain nameless, I'm looking for clarification on this, for others, and myself in the future.

Reason been, I received an infraction which was sorted out, and again I'm not here to post bad feelings towards anyone. I would just like clarification.

Its fine with me, and maybe others not to post such a sale, but lets make it clear. Post up some new rules so all the mods know what to give infractions for.

One mod interpreting one rule as another is not good enough. All mods and all members should understand the rules clearly.

Nobody is stabbing you in the back, you just done that to yourself. Nowhere above did I mention names, I think my post was very clear about that. Nor is this post in relation to my thread, its a clarification for all to see, whether wares sites can be sold in the BST/Sites section, whatever the outcome, the decision will be respected by me and my fellow members.

Don't make another mistake, find out your facts first, and remember ask yourself the simple question, "Does my reply have any value to anyone other than myself and/or the original thread poster?" If not, send them a private message.

Actually until you posted Sawz, there were no names being used.

But since we're naming names, I point out that you are one of the moderators I've contacted asking a couple questions about the rules and I never heard back from. (edit: I'm sure you;re busy and I try to give folks the benefit of the doubt but since you yourself bring up the situation...)

+1 for the mods all being on the same page when the rules are being concerned. This is one of the areas I had a concern about as well and I've been trying to get an answer as well. If a mod isn't going to respond to a question raised, how else are we to find out the information we ask for?

as for answering your PM, i don't respond to everyone, especially when the answer is in the faq / rules.

The quote is a rule, and its a clear a precise rule for that section, anyone or any mod could have written it. I in no way was pointing any fingers, naming names or stabbing anyone.

I have no problem following that rule at all.
