Can anyone clarify the length of the eBay cookie for me. I know that it is 7 days.

What I don't fully understand is how the 7 days is applied. Does it mean that the visitor must actually win the auction or buy-it-now within the 7 days. Or does it mean that the visitor can place a bid within the 7 days and so long as that bid wins the auction, regardless of when the auction ends (e.g. 9 days later).

The bid must be placed within 7 days. When the auction ends has nothing to do with it.

Once visitor click on any of the "rover" link, a cookie will be stored in his pc. you will get a fee if that guy make any purchase within that 7 days. not sure what happen if the auction close after that 7 days period.

Anyone know what the actual rover cookie looks like? Its hard to tell which one it is in your cookies list.
