Clarification Of the BST Section

I was given an infraction months ago in for making a positive comment in the BST section. I was told that comments either negative or positive were not allowed in a sales thread. No big deal and I stopped making any comments in the BST. However, I am seeing hundreds of post in sales threads that are basically either arguing with or attacking the OP.

Can we have an official clarification on the rules about commenting in a sales thread.

Here one good example of many just in the web hosting section.

In this one the OP even asked to stop the commenting and it kept up.
