Dear Friends, Can anyone suggest me - action plan for an advertiser who has approached me to put a link on my blog. The advertiser is a pokerlisting site who wants to put some texts + external links to Poker sites on my blog. My questions are: 1) Whether there is any harm to allow links to such gambling related sites on my blog. 2) Whether Google can have any bad remark on such links & can affect my adsense account. I wouldn't go with it. Links out to dodgy sites (which can include some gambling sites) can negatively impact your site in the search results. Also external links that don't match the theme of your site can weaken the thematic assumptions that the search engines make, making it harder to rank for the terms that are important to you.
