Question: Do you manage DNS as well? If so, does your DNS system accept wildcard entries (e.g., *.mydomain.com) Thx
Since its on a VPS anything is possible, apache supports wildcard dns entries. You will have to set this up though.
Not exactly... I'm fully capable of handling the web server side needed (in apache). My question is about the DNS servers that you run.. This is outside the VPS entirely... Do they accept *.mydomain.com? Some do, and some don't... If you can, I'm interested in some space... But this is a must.
It accepts it. Our DNS servers accept wildcard entries. I've ran an Wordpress mu install on our VPS services which was setup using wildcard entries.
