I just began with CJ and I signed up with a few affiliates and my request is "still pending"....Its been almost 3 weeks. How long can the approval process take? Does anyone know?
Depends on the affiliate, CJ just passes the info to a marketing manager at the company and they have to approve it. But it shouldn't be more than a few weeks.
Depends on the advertisers and many will need a "push". If you are doing whitehat and everything is above board, I can't see any problem with you getting paid.
LOL! I have one that's been pending for 7 months. It's just a source of amusement to me now, and I take a jab at CJ about it whenever I need to email them about something, asking them what kind of policing they do of their merchants.
Good luck. I have been waiting for some to approve me for months. Even sending an email doesn't help. I may need to start calling.
Just now I filled the CJ publisher application and immediately they sent me a Welcome email with username and password... I'm not sure what their criteria is for accepting applications but, did you provide your website link? is the website working or under construction? are you in the US? (maybe it delays if you are not).
digitalkev- Of course you will get a welcome letter ASAP because CJ wants you to get started. But once you sign up to some affiliates, the affiliates will have to approve the request. Which may take awhile. My websites are fine, up an running no prob. But Thanks Though!
lol now i understand what you mean... each affiliates has to accept you... well.. i'll try some of them.. lets see what happens good luck!
LOL I have been waiting for months on some, I just find others that match my niches and move on they don't want money so I have better things to do than wait on someone. Too many merchants, so little time to be waiting for a few who are too rich to bother. LOL Seriously if you are looking for a specific product most likely the product is in cj with a different merchant.
ooohhh. weeks and months.... I just applied a few days ago and was getting impatient. Thanks for the info.
I have about 20+ programs that are still pending - it's been about 3 weeks also. It just depends, some take a few days, some weeks and others don't even bother. I don't really like CJ but the only reason i am still with them is because i like the tracking that they do. Otherwise it's a pretty frustrating experience and i hate the fact that if you are not in the U.S then a lot of the good programs decline you straight away.
