CJ sign up problem, help :)

    Hi all...

    First post with DP...and already calling for help. heheh

    Has anyone else had this problem...

    While attempting to initially sign up / join CJ, I am unable to complete the sign up because at the bottom of the second / stage II page, there is this final step..

    * Please enter the characters into the box below

    I've used both IE and Firefox to go thru the sign up 2 stage process, and yet my browsers do not show the actual 'characters' to enter into the box.

    In other words, at the bottom of the page II of the sign up process, below entering bank account details, the page asks to enter 'characters' into the box. But NO characters are displayed.

    Would this problem be caused by the fact I live in Australia and have indicated this in the various applications fields?? I doubt this because CJ offers payments to Aust banks.

    Any advice would be appreciated...

    hi all:

    any replies to my post...please help

    as a way of trying to find a solution, i actually visited the australian ebay website and used the link to CJ from that site.

    but still no success.

    after completing page 1 and 2 of the CJ sign up procedure, at the very bottom of page 2, there is a small box into which a 'code' must be typed.

    but no 'code' is actually displayed.

    i've used both firefox and IE. and still get this problem.

    please any comments or help appreciated.

    I can see the captcha characters.. Their form is working.

    If you can't see the captcha on your PC, maybe try using a different computer to sign up.
    Or if you're really desperate, try another browser.

    thanks for your reply.

    i tried half of your suggestion. i was unable to see the 'captcha' on either firefox or IE browsers. very strange.

    perhaps i will try another computer and see if i can get a result.

    any other suggestions most appreciated.

    I'm in Aus too and could see the captcha fine. But just to note, I believe CJ doesn't pay directly into Australian banks but can issue cheques in Australian dollars (AUD). [edit - I stand corrected. Even though they only mention US, UK and Canada for direct deposit in the main part of the sign up form when you select Direct Deposit you can indeed select AUD and put in Aussie bank details.. sweeeeeet! Thanks rediim! :)]

    Anyway, if you get past that stage let me know if you get your confirmation email because I can't get anything (see this thread - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=566372).

    problem solved about the capture code. used a friends PC and saw the code displayed.

    completed the signup to cj and received confirmation email to gmail account.

    so now just need to fill and fax w8ben tax form and then all is good.
