I have worked in the IT industry over 20 years and anytime a production system was down and was going to be down for an unforeseen amount of time, an email or broadcast was sent out to all of the users. Now a days even a posting on the website would have worked. This is just a shame. I hope they work on their communication skills. Peace
FYI, advertisers weren't notified of the issues either. The notice wasn't posted on CJ.com until well after the transaction report issues were resolved. There were a full 48 hours without either performance or transaction reports, with no notice or explanation whatsoever from CJ. Yes - it was partially on a weekend - but I'm sure upper management of CJ was well aware of the issue.
Funny, CJ now has some verbiage on the front page about the problems. I swear this was not there when I posted my first comment. All good though. I now feel that CJ is a professional company.
Strange.. I am still making money though, Yesterday I had a sale. It snot in any reports but the money is in my total. Are we assuming that money made yesterday could have been posted that day even though it was earned a few days ago? Or that their system is catching up.. ive yet to figure this out. I just had a major ppc campaign end and the results were horrible I am hoping that they will post at a later date.
Mine are caught up, but amounts don't match amounts in the transaction reports (probably due to caching in the system?).
My clicks seem to have caught up now but I don't think my sales have. CJ could of handled this a bit better. As mentioned previous they took over 48 hours to post an Alert about this problem. I realize it is Christmas and all but how hard is it too put up an Alert. I am use to reporting being delayed 1 or 2 days but after 3 I was getting worried it was something on my end
