    Hello all,
When you start to sign up for cj there it gives you a choice on which currency to choose.I'm from the uk with paypal, but considering that most possible sales when affliating with cj could be done in the usa, which currency should,or can i use seing as i may get charged by paypal for payments to the uk from usa???
Also, given a choice would you use clickbank or cj?
If you wanted to use articles to direct traffic to a web page, which free webpage software (such as wordpress) is still really liked by googles search engine or does it really matter?

    thanks for any help.

    1. CJ pays once per month and will convert currency once per month at the time of the payout. I guess its up to you to see how sterling is going against the US$. Paypal will charge you irrespective of where the comissions come from, but if you opt for US$ payment and then you can leave it in paypal and only draw it when the rate is good. Or why don't you go for direct deposit and avoid the paypal charges?

    2. Cj and clickbank offer a totally different range of products. Payouts with CB are relatively high but in my experience harder to achieve. I would go with the products that you know something about as the passion that you have for a subject will be reflected, I believe, in your marketing and also your results.

    3. There are some excellent templates and plugins for wordpress that make it very simple to put up a professional looking page that can also rank well in terms of seo. easy to add content etc and yes google does still "like" blogs. Most of my sites are straight web pages, and with some unique and relevant content can also rank well, but I think to achieve a really good "look" you do need some html knowledge.

    Best of luck.

CJ doesn't pay via PayPal, FYI - your payment options are either a check that is mailed to you or an electronic transfer into your bank account.

Thanks for taking the time for your reply mcjp6 which was exactly what i was looking for. While you are here,so to speak:),
Is it possible to make a modest (say $100 month as a start) amount doing affiliate marketing by sending out articles directing them to a blog if you target niches with no,or low outlay on adwords?eg bum marketing.
Also can you recommend any books on html, css as i would like to learn from the top of the page to the bottom?i find alot of the internet how to sites abit disjointed.
And is it ok/good to have a blog with totally different unconnected affiliate products on each,or many pages?

    thanks again.

    1. be careful with adwords you can burn up a lot of cash very quickly, take it very slowly, an excellent forum on this site re adwords. $100 pm is possible but it will take time as you build your traffic and more importantly target traffic.

    2. Don't know of any books, sorry, I just built a page and changed things until it worked the way I wanted it to. Save often! Plenty of free templates around, just google free web templates.

    3. It is ok to have unrelated products on the one page but probably not good as any traffic will be there as a result of your keywords on the page and if your blog is about lawn care they are unlikely to click your link about web hosting, and if you use adwords google will slap financially you for all sorts of reasons including taking their users to an unrelated site.

    hope this helps.

CJ would not pay you through paypal. Currency choice is for your convenience alone. Your CJ account would show your chosen currency. In case you opt for check and not direct deposit, you would receive check in chosen currency.
If you earn 10 dollars at Clickbank and the do not earn further, your balance would keep reducing with time.

Cj is having some problem with the tracking system, but clickbank have some delay with the payment. Each of them have their own advantages and weakness.
