CJ Publisher Agreement Is So Vague

I received an email yesterday regarding my account being put on hold.

The Commission Junction Publisher Service Agreement you agreed to follow(the “PSA”) states that you may not promote advertisers on a site that contains objectionable content (including but not limited to content that is misleading, libelous, defamatory, obscene, violent, bigoted, hate-oriented, illegal, and/or promoting illegal goods, services or activities).

Here was my description of the site:

Lots of free sexy desktop wallpapers that I create myself using scans or photos from magazines. Then I use Photoshop to make them into desktop wallpaper that are available to download for free. I link to eBay by allowing visitors to sell the wallpaper on eBay to boost their feedback as sellers. I give detailed instructions and link to eBay on the instructions and downloads pages.

I have since removed the links to eBay and those pages with the selling instructions. But here was a url to my site: freesexydesktopwallpaper.com (can I post a URL here? I'm not sure, so if mods disagree, then pull it or tell me and I will. I don't have any ads on the site and don't sell anything, it's just a blog.)

I don't honestly see how any of it was "misleading, libelous, defamatory, violent, hate-oriented, illegal, and/or promoting illegal goods, services, or activities."

"Obscene"...maybe if you are nut who has never seen a woman in a bikini.

I mean, I don't understand how this is such an "objectionable" website when EBay, the advertiser I signed up with CJ to promote, sells adult material, porn and lots of adult costumes, toys, etc. on their website. And my site is not even close to being "adult" ...at most my site was PG-13 material. Hardly anything "objectionable."

If I cannot post pictures of women in bikinis...it doesn't make sense. I'm wondering what part of my site was so objectionable. Because plenty of CJ products relate to the content on my site.

Not like I've made loads of money from CJ anyway. My last account was closed, and I never got my commissions. So I've been hesitant to trying much with them or putting in much effort.

Why did my last account get closed. Oh, because of that ridiculously ambiguous clause in their agreement that states you don't have to have a website to promote links. You can do so through a newsletter. But then again, all the links must be on your website. Can anyone explain this hypocritical issue?

Overall, I think the Agreement is vague. They seem to be able to tear down anything they don't like. I really felt that I was abiding by their rules.
