CJ will release a new type AD called PayPerCall. Does PayPerCall really have Higher conversion rate? anyone has some suggested PayPerCall network?
It's another thing in favor of Advertisers. CJ does these kind of benefits often in favor of advertisers. Are u new to it? Pay Per Call is a cool feature that enables to track lead more precisely & also help advertisers to get higher conversion.
they say that it has a higher conversation rate. I am still to test it. does anyone know if he actually have to wait to be approved by the advertiser or when get your promotional #'s can you start advertising right away.
It has a higher conversion rate because once you've gotten a person to call a phone number, they're most likely looking to purchase (you can't exactly browse a product catalog by phone, can you?). It takes much more to get them to call, though.
I was thinking of using this new add type for some mobile phone applications. However I cannot find any details on how it works. How do they track the affiliate? Does each affiliate have a unique phone number for the user to call with?
I am pretty sure it setup something like this: The company setup a main account with a telecom company (nowsaday, pretty sure it's voip provider) and they can assigned and add phone number extensions to affiliates. They will be able to see the call record in real time. It's not hard for such a solution today!
I saw this at ASW and talked with some CJ reps. This is going to be huge especially with the way smart phones allow you to "click to call"
Yes it's great. but only for US based publisher so far. I have applied for & they come up that they are developing another system for international publisher
I just got approved for Pay-Per-Call--after a few weeks--but have yet to use it. Anybody using it now?
I've applied and just need to confirm my account. I'm thinking about doing some testing on it, I think it might be ideal for local advertising moreso than online stuff. In fact, even the graphics they show seem to reflect advertisements in newspapers, magazines, and things. I don't know what kind of conversion you get with such ads though. A side note: If anyone wants to do a Joint Venture test for this, please let me know. It might be ideal for someone who is out of the US and can't get their own account setup with them. I'll put in work and split the marketing expenses 50%, a 50/50 split as well. PM me if you are interested!
There are only a handful of affiliates on Pay Per Call (about 10?). I can't use any of them at this point on my sites, not the right target audience. I guess I'll wait to see what happens.
