CJ On my Websites?

I have two websites (see sig), one is a directory and the other is a website for collectors.

I don't know very much about CJ, just that a friend of mine is doing well with it.

I'm thinking about replacing my adsense with CJ ads on my website for collectors (probably would pay more), if they have related affiliate programs.

Do you think that CJ could work on a combination website and article directory?

No, adsense will work better for you in my opinion...since it is virtually maintanence free.

Why not just supplement your income instead of replacing it?

Why not place all of the collectibles listed on Ebay (a CJ advertiser):

    http://collectibles.ebay.com/

into your site in your own affiliate store. You'll then earn commissions on all the eBay products bought through your store and can still include Adsense ads as a second method of monetizing your visitors.

The link in my signature explains how to do it. Feel free to contact me by PM if you'd like me to explain it in more depth.

As Kelvin said, you should set up a page displaying ebay listings.
This is pretty easy to do using RSS, and because it uses RSS, it's always up to date - so you never have to update it.

If you want to get your hands dirty, there's a basic intro on how to do it here.
