Is there no near-perfect affiliate program? I've been looking for a reliable affiliate program and been surfing the web for months, and I keep reading complaints. I thought CJ was perfect, but here, there are a lot of complaints of unpaid commissions. I joined CJ in 2008, but didn't sell anything, so my account was deleted.

I've sold something at Affiliatebot, and the commission appeared on my account page -- a nice development. But soon, I also read writeups that Affiliatebot does not pay. Whew! Are we to bear the risks?

Choose merchants that are reliable & have been active in CJ for a while. I do 6 figures of commissions every year with CJ & have only once had a problem with payment - and that was regarding a $300 payment for a CJM (CJ Media) deal. Never had a problem with the other few hundred thousands of dollars of commissions.

Yes you need to check the terms of the program you're promoting. I have no problem getting paid even with hosting companies that I promote.

You might want to contact them and ask for help. If they don't want to pay you, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. That's if it's a big payments, if it's pretty small, just let it go and move on.

    Odd...
I never had problems like that with CJ.
Always timely locking and payment on schedule. I did have to wait until I received the first check though - it's normal and they can hold it till the new accound gets reviewed by CJ quality assessment team, which is normal.
I believe you did the right thing when you cotacted them. You should get some response from them.
BTW, have you checked your 'Mail' tab on your Account Manager? They might have written you something and could be expecting that you first respond before they can process your payment.
Hopefully, things will get resolved for you soon.

Just one thought - did you ever think of contacting the advertiser or CJ to ask why this happened? I'm guessing that it is due to a longer locking period than normal.

Contact the advertiser by visiting the advertiser detail page & getting their email address, or you can contact CJ from the Help link.

It's that simple. We don't know anything about your situation, but the advertiser would be able to rectify this in about 1 day.
