CJ has given me a notice for account closure

I have been associated with CJ for more than a year now.
i have even recieved a payment form them, though not a very big one, but still

i came across an advertisera few days back, which paid a good amount for an online survey which hardly took 2 minutes to complete. Luckily, i managed to earn a good amount from this campaign.

However, when it was the turn for the payment, my check wasnt made. i wrote them after a week regarding my payment. they said that they think that some of the leads are invalid. i tried to convince them that none of the leads were invalid and that all of them were genuine. However, they didnt believe me and they charged back the commission of some leads.

My account started working fine after that. but my payments were still not made. Few days back, i recieved a warning mail from their end, instructing that i should remove all ads from my sites. i did as they said.

But yesterday, i recieved another mail saying that they are moving my account for closure and cancelling my payments. Please if some can guide me what to do next in order to save my account as well as my payments.

I have more than $230 balance unpaid in my account.

    Thanks in advance.

Did you try to fill up the surveys yourself? That is a close of account right there.

Well, seems to me that you did try the survey yourself.. :p
That alone is enough to get your account closed.

The only affiliate programs that I think work with common decency are maxbounty. One month I had about 2.5k in false leads.. Of course not on purpose (Had some issues with incentives) , got it all sorted and my account is still active and making money :D

Thats why Id ont like CJ.. Just far too un personal.

There was no false lead. I just asked one of my friend to feed his details so that i could test whether the payouts are genuine or not.

And that too, wasnt from my computer!!

Anyone can recommend my any other affiliate network, (that really pays honestly):(

Amazon pays on time but only gives out 4% commission. :p
ClickBooth is excellent, great support team and pays out on time.
    Shareasale.com is okay too.

    :D

Well so you did one or more invalid leads.

They monitor using IPs, where (location) the leads are from. If your leads come the geo region, they will catch you.

    1. Are you sure you NEVER EVER logged in your CJ account at your friend's house? (you know you shouldn't have asked him to fill in the form anyways.)

    2. Amazon does not pay only 4% if you sell enough items it can make good commission.

    3. Yes you can run Amazon with AdSense - it has been approved by both sides.

    Hope that helps.

Well believe it or not but during my first payment this is what i had done. And you just asked ur friend to signup for one lead which i suppose you are not revealing correctly. Cause I had signed up for leads worth 42 pounds in total from another computer and they had sent me an email during the payment that we cannot process the payments cause we doubt your promotional methods. But I politely sent them an email explaining everything I did and I frankly told them that I had signed up from another computer so that I could see if the affiliate programs for various merchants were working or no. And they said that since I have told them that "this time they would let the commissions be paid and they would monitor my account during the next payment for leads comming from a single computer or ip address and if that happens then I might be a candidate for losing my account.

So lets hope I dont lose my account but I did get paid 42 pounds from them for FRADULENT LEADS which I did for testing purposes. Just that I was honest with them and it paid :)

I have been using CJ for years now and they are great. I have never had any problems at all with them or my payments.

Im not familiar with maxbounty, I will have to check them out.

    Just my 2 cents

well why dont you email them and ask them about it. Just try if they do respond then they will surely let u know the reason for closure.

It may of been for that one "false" lead. They have a responsibility to the advertisers to prevent fraud.
You should definitly e-mail them and see what you can do to re-instate your account though if thats even possible.

Well I was filling out my own surveys from another computer at the library to test if they paid out or not, and when it came time for the check they sent me a warning about closing my account. Even though I owned some proxy sites, they were able to tell that the surveys were being filled with fraudulent info I'm guessing. Instead of lying, I simply told them I was testing the surveys and that I don't need to be paid, and apologized. They responded with "this time they would let the commissions be paid and they would monitor my account during the next payment for leads coming from a single computer or ip address and if that happens then I might be a candidate for losing my account.
" The point is - just be honest as CJ is much more lenient than google's adsense. :)

Guy, you made a false lead. What did you expect would happen?
