CJ is one of the best affiliate networks out there. But here at DP, the CJ forum is flooded with complains about account termination. When I'm writing this there is around 5 active threads about this. We all know that CJ won't terminate an account without any reason, but this guys are claiming they are complete innocent and didn't do anything(Yeah! We know that) . I think the mods should have a look. What do you guys say?
People seem to have trouble following terms and conditions or don't bother reading them which always comes back to haunt them at a later date.
Ya. That is a reason. Also there are a lot of people who thinks that they can generate fake leads by themselves and go unnoticed. They get banned in no time and end up complaining here.
Haha very true seqqa. Dude when will people read that forums establish rules for a reason and usually the rules arn't that hard to follow except for people that just can't comprehend the idea of rules..... lol
Look at that thread from years ago still alive today, "$330 in a day from CJ!! I bet you never tried this simple trick," then you might understand why these fuckin retards are getting banned.
H ha ha. Well said. I know why they are getting banned. And about that thread I get a feeling that the poster of the thread was about to apply or applied his so called trick. Not his friend. He has just checking his possibilities of getting banned.
I haven't made not one cent with CJ. I been with them 6 months, I got an email saying my account will be deactivated in Oct, and I can reactivate after 180 days.
My CJ account was also suspended because I wasn't active for 6 months. They said I could submit a request to reactivate my account but I need to give them a good reason to do so. However, this is very different than terminating an account... as many of you said, that would probably be for cause. I plan to get my account with them active again but have decided to work with LinkShare and a couple of others first to ensure I'm getting the appropriate clicks first, then I'll go back to CJ because I'll know I can keep it going.
The main issue is that most of those who are complaining think that they can cheat CJ, why it is the #1 affiliate network so far. Read carefully the TOS and advertisers TOS before joining them too
Thanks for your jump in, that is the biggest mistake that most of newbie bloggers have made when joining CJ and any other affiliate networks
If they took action every time someone started a thread asking a question that's been asked before, DP would be a friggin' ghost town Agreed, though, CJ don't ban people for no reason, unless there was some misunderstanding. They know all the tricks, but there's still plenty of types out there who fancy trying to make a few shortlived bucks.
