Hello, I do not understand the commision details below: The 13th did one of my site sold for $5692.76. My commision is $71.21. (Note its euros - €) Screenshots: CJ: http://webventures.dk/images/cj.gif Analyzer: http://webventures.dk/images/commision.gif I did the math ($71.21 / $5692.76) * 100 % = 1,25 % I thought I should get about 3% in commision? Thanks, Jonas
You get a percentage of the eBay fee, NOT the auction price. If you look at the CJ report, you'll see that the total fees were €95.61, and your commission was €47.81 - that's a 50% commission, just as it should be. The screenshot report from thewebsiteprofessionals.com shows the total of the sales you've generated, not the total eBay fees. I actually removed the eBay fee column from the report tool just a few days ago, if anyone wants it back, just let me know
We sell items in some niches that the item sells for anywhere between $9000-16,000. The commissions to us on those sales is between $70-$300 depending on a LOT of factors. Keep in mind if people buy featured listings, bold face, highlighted, buy-it-now, or any other features you get a percentage of that "fee" as well. So it's really hard to calculate exactly what you will receive. Though your commission seems right on track for that sale. The worst time is when ebay has $.10 listing days or such.
Bigger ticket items like cars and machinery have fixed listing fees, so one of those items may sell for $10,000 but you will only get $60
