CJ eBay Affiliate Program VS. Auction Ads

Ok, I can't find information on this anywhere, but maybe I'm looking in the wrong location.

How exactly does auction ads work? Does it work exactly the same as CJs program?

Here's my situation. I have a site that makes decent usage (and money) through using eBay's feeds. Using contextual ads like auction ads would most likely bring the revenue up however. I realize I may lose some incentive bonus as some of the revenue goes trough AA coffers, but aside from that I'm guessing I'll increase my revenue.

The problem is, I'm not sure what happens when I keep using both.

Since, the eBay cookie stored on the users computer will keep switching back and forth between the two (for a repeat visitor) are there any negative consequences of this?

I assume AA us using PIDS or similar to track each individual account and creidt them (or something similar) so AA does pay for every action, not jsut the linked one, correct?

Now, here's where I get confused. CJ's eBay affiliate program has a cookie length of seven days, yet auction ads says theres is thirty. Is this just an advertising gimmick or in this aspect, or does Auction Ads have a better rate?

I though auction ads was just using CJ's affiliate program themselves with additional tracking and software, but the thirty day aspect throws me off.

    Input is appreciated.

Ebay has two time periods. The cookie is 7 days, but new registrations have up to 30 days to come back and buy/bin/bid on anything and you still get the ACRU and sale. The latter is not cookie based.

Personally I wouldn't use AA at all and stick with ebay/cj. Just my opinion. :)
