My own mysql counter shows a total clicksum of about 2000 clicks. When I check CJs, it only shows about 800 clicks (and 7 sales). 2000 clicks is about 1/3 of all my visitors, which makes sense as I have a similiar site in another country with nearly exactly the same figures. More facts. Recommended a friend a webhost that I have as affiliate. He signed up through one of my affiliate links (onsite). Did I get a sale? No. Already contacted CJs support, they said everything is fine. What do you think?
that's why it is best to contact the ADVERTISER directly...cj only tracks links they created for the advertiser...it is up to you to talk with your ADVERTISER'S affiliate department directly and see if they did get a sale/lead from a certain customer...
Seem to be techinical problem, If the log at host show the value of click, contacting Advwertiser directly is the best way.
Yep, I contacted eToro ( My advertiser) few times they manually added my lead. But the problem is not all the time you get to know when someone followed your link. That is why am offering them valuable things once they contact me after completing the deal. This will not always work. But I believe CJ cannot track all the clicks and leads. Too bad :-(
Just noticed that I track bots with my script too, so the figure might be to high (probably not high enough anyway). Just fixed so that non-cookie visitors don't get counted, will report back later what figures I get.
