I think there is an issue today, supposedly i had 110 clicks, which just suddenly showed up! I checked all my traffic streams and i canot see any way this is true. Anyone elses stats going mad today?
110 clicks isn't all that much to be worried about. Now if it goes into the thousands or higher I would be a little concerned if there were no conversions.
Could be a search engine spider, possibly one going crazy. Earlier this month, one of Google's spiders (not sure if it was their AdWords spider or their search spider) racked up about 25,000 clicks on a specific CJ link from a single affiliate. That kind of stuff doesn't happen very often, but spiders do and will visit your affiliate links.
For ~30 min yesterday I had $700 extra in my CJ account (I check my account ever couple hours, and I KNEW it wasn't correct.. not that I'd have complained, or sent it back unless compelled..) -Jason
I haven't checked today, but this has happened to me in the past. Nothing good or bad came of it and my site stats didn't seem to indicate anything different than normal.
Yeh could be they were spidering my new page on my site, it aint a worry just confused me as i get around 0 max a day heh and only had 13 today as most campaigns on hold on a saturday, so 13 to 110 caught me offguard. Must be these spiders..
