I run a student organization website. The members of this organization all subscribe to a specific newspaper. I was wondering if there are any problems with adding CJ to this website and then having the members purchase subscriptions through the affiliate link to generate additional revenue for the club. Thanks.

No, there's no issue with that. The whole purpose of affiliate programs are to refer customers to a merchant to make a sale! You're in the clear.

The only thing I can think of is if the student organization has rules against this. If it is under the umbrella of a school, they may have restrictions against outside advertising. As far as CJ goes, you are fine.

Just make sure you don't offer any incentives for people to subscribe using the CJ link - some advertisers don't allow incentivized links.
