CJ and sales

    Hello,

Could anyone to explain me how CJ track the sales? I mean :
    1. a visitor click on the banner
    2. it goes through CJ and redirects him to the site. CJ remembers advertiser and publisher.
    3. Now the visitor makes a purchase.

How does CJ know that a purchase was made and visitor just didn't go away?

    Thanks,
    Igor.

The redirect process drops a cookie on visitor's pc. My guess is that CJ has a software running at merchants' check-out process to track the sales.

Sure they can if they want to. But they might get kicked out of CJ.

I don't know how it works but, like in many other situations in life, if they are caught cheating, they might be punished. If they are not caught, cheated ones are punished.

I don't think that's it.... It's really big company and bussiness cannot work only on confidence.
    There shoule be something more...

It's called breach of contract. It can be remedied by a lawsuit.
