CJ Account Deactivated ?

Discussion in 'Commission Junction' started by BNix, May 2, 2006.

Last 2 weeks I went on vacation and didn't check any email and cj account for 10 days (Check only the first day)

When i logged in to my cj account again , they said

"Our records indicate that your account has been deactivated. To try again please go back to the login page."

I never violate any TOS , and they don' even email me notice my account was deactivated. And my link is still accessible to the aff site , Or CJ ban the 10+ days inactive user ?

    Thanks in advance

How long since you've had any earnings? CJ is great for dropping sites that don't earn over a 6 month period.

Getting dropped - That's no good - however if you don't earn over a 6 month period then I can see that they might want to drop you. The ads you are running are serving neither you, CJ or their advertisers.

Just reregister with a different email and you'll be fine. Just make sure you have at least 1 sale every 6 month period even if it means buying something cheap for yourself..

My account has also been deactivated,

when i contacted them they said that a user with the same ip address was doing loads of false leads.

How am i ment to stop them except ban the ip address, but by the time they tell me its to late so i carnt do anything.

I also made a new account to see what would happen and after like 1 month with nothing wrong that also got deactivaTED.

    :-(

This seems to be the right way to go (re-register and make sure to convert at least one sale every few months). It's too bad they don't make you aware of the dropping practice. I posted a Tivo affiliate link on many of my posts and now I need to go and remove all of them, sign up with a different email and then re-apply the affiliate links... Think I'll go chitika instead.

i just tried to sign in to my account and it was also deactivated :( CJ shouldn't be doing this! as long as the impressions are coming and people clicking on links, they should keep the accounts active!!!

I think it wrong that they would deactivate you for having no sales, and i'd argue that by displaying the adverts you are doing a service to their advertisers, your brand builing for them!
