I just tried logging into my CJ account a few minutes ago and It says my account has been deactivated, is there any reason why that may have happened? I want to contact CJ and ask but I thought maybe this was just a glitch in their system any one with the same problem?

Were you earning money through CJ? CJ generally deactivate the account who does not earn for a period of six month.

Yup, if you have made no sales in six months, they will de-activate your account. No worries though, just open another acct with a different email address.

    That's what I did.

Thats is kind of dumb, isn't it? Sales or not companies are still getting advertised.

Well Im guessing I hadn't made any sales in six months but I made my first sale a few days back. Ive had my account for a long while let me just check my email and get back to you............

    .............
ok feb 10th so its been more than 6 months about 8 months but I did make my first sale a few days ago!!!!

I agree melissa I mean how stupid can you be losing affiliates like that

    EDIT**

The annoying bit is the sale I made is a residually paying affiliate

Well it happened to me too, since I haven't bothered reading CJs TOS when I applied. It was more than 6mos of inactivity and they shut my account off.

I was also just deactivated. I registered some time back, but just got started a couple of weeks ago and already deactivated. No notification just can't log in, so clicks work, but they kept it secret - way to go.

My question is - to those who simply reregistered, if I need to reregister, then can I no longer use my business email address? Or how about the existing links - they were a lot of work. Now will I get a new account number after and need new links after all that work just a couple of weeks ago?

Man I just got my acount re activated but Im sort of in a mess, I dont have a site I just registered a few domains and Im supposed to make some sales by the end of this month. Here is the reply I got

    Dear,

Your account has been deactivated due to inactivity in your Commission Junction account. As stated in the Publisher Service Agreement (PSA), any publisher account which does not generate any revenue within a period of six consecutive months will be charged a Dormant Account Fee of either £7 or the account balance, whichever is less. If the account balance is zero and a publisher account has not generated any revenue within a period of six consecutive months, the account will be deactivated. The Dormant Account Fee or balances less than £16 cannot be paid out.

I have reactivated your account. please make sure it generates commmissions before October 1st in order to stay active.

    Kind regards,

    Network Performance Representative
    CJ UK

Hi amedno1, how did you reactivate your account? Did you apply for a new one? Was the old one reactivated with all your existing links, or do you have to create new ones? If the old one was reactivated, how did you contact them? Through email?

Yes I just went to the contact us section from the cj website and asked them to reactivate it, but they give you a month to generate sales
