i've a layout 728px large. i made a dual table of 728 px. left side has a banner from CJ (300x250px) right side has adsense 300x250 question : is it against google's TOS ? (ads over images ?) what else can i do to "cover" the 300x250 hole in case i can't use CJ ?
excellent ! now last question, about CJ : i'll use a javascript banner rotator and i've around 20 different banners about travel and books. for books i've Lonely Planet and Amazon. for travel thomas cook, expedia, etc can i show them together or are they considered "competitors in the same page" ? should i customize my script to avoid showing competitors at the same time or is it all OK for CJ and amazon ?
Google now permits competing contextual ad services. For example, Amazon Omakase links used to be against the Google TOS to display them on the same page as Adsense ads but the TOS have been revised to permit other services like that. Whether this means they permit direct Adsense competition, I'm not sure, but I do believe even the TOS permits that now.
thanks for all the reply guys ! i wrote a javascript to rotate the 300x250 CJ and amazon ads next to the adsense 300x250, just in case they're inside a table with border in between, never say never (border is barely visibile but the fact there's a border could avoid troubles). i'll let you know how it works regarding CTR and if G complains or ban me
