Some people in San Fransisco blocked a bus carrying Google employees in protest over rich employees increasing the costs of living in their city. A sign posted by a light controller read "Google Scum." According to the story, some people are being evicted from their apartments/homes to make way for rich Google and other technology employees, which is referred to as gentrification (affluent people pushing the less affluent out of a community). Is the domination of Google and a few other select technology corporations finally starting to be felt by everyday citizens? http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/12/09/us-google-protest-idUSBRE9B818J20131209?feedType=RSS
"bus was blocked in San Francisco's Mission district" If I was in the Mission district I would hope to get evicted, that place is a cess pool.
