cities/states dump

    Does anyone have a mysql dump with the US states and cities already done? I'm sure there's one lying around somewhere...?

    The easiest way to obtain this kind of information in a free database is to look for free zip code databases which often contain city/states in the same record.

    http://www.free-zipcodes.com/

    Also includes the lat-long for each zip code in case you want to do some geo stuff, like match up restaurants within 10 miles of their location.
