    Hey guys :)

I live in Israel and i always wanted a US bank account which will have a branch in Israel so i can deposit checks I receive (in $), etc. luckily we have here 2 banks, CitiBank and HSBC bank. I wanna open a savings account, which will have no motley fees and no minimum balance, I think that both banks has this available.

Can some one tell me the difference between the Checking and Savings accounts? Plus, can some one tell me which account will probably have *No minimum balance and *No monthly fees?

In addition, what is the APY for? (annual percentage yield)
and which one do you think is better.

    Robert

Isn't the APY differs for each country?
You will get better information from your local rep.
