I'd start creating or aggregating content now. You could start out with a single site with a variety of articles and see which ones work. You can checkout what traffic and bids are like at Overture (Yahoo! Search Marketing) in the marketing tools section.

In most of those threads you pretty much get the same replies like more traffic, quality content, unique ideas, etc. It's also an obvious thing that you have to work on your site, that it takes a lot of time and so on. Sure setting yourself a goal is a good thing, but hell, there aren't many people able to stick to it and do whatever it takes to reach that goal.

antonaf, you have said something brilliant there - Everyday do something with your website. I know, it is obvious but damn, I love it. That is a really thing to follow :)

before this..i intend to rush my site.
i guess it really need to built it up day by day.
i've learn here it's just not about getting a site up and running.
content, traffic takes time to built.

that's right, just work on the site 1 day at a time.
    it will mature eventually..

Hey, are you watching me?

Good advice... it is VERY easy to throw a lot of time into things that feel like work, but that have no productive value. I am guilty of this from time to time...

My idea - write some content, write some more content... guess what, you should write even more content... desing your site, put your content in it, SEO it the best way you can, star marketing (submissions to directories, link building etc.), write some more content, tell your friends about your web => you do want some visitros right away :), your friends will spread the word, write some more content, somewhere in the midle of all this you shoul put ads, yeah, write some more content ;)
This is my plan I'm sharing it with you ;) (for 10% of your yearly income ofcourse :) )

    Good luck
