Calling all webmasters! Here is my story: CirtexHosting sounded like a good idea some time ago. I have hosting with 5 other companies and I wanted to try CirtexHosting too. I saw a nice offer for 2 year shared webhosting and I went for it. In the beginning I didn't notice anything wrong. My websites were new and I was building them. At one time I realized that everyday for 30min-60 min all my sites went offline or loaded very bad (25 seconds to load a simple page). I went to their online support and they "fixed it". Yeah right! For months now, this happens almost everyday. For God's sake I host websites. No one in their right mind will wait 25 seconds for my website to load. Chances are they will close my website and take the next one from the Google Results. Here is one of my latest support chat log (you will notice I am desperate): Everytime is the same thing. They don't care anymore. They took their money!!! Sorry to hear about your issues; 25 seconds for a page to load sounds like overloaded servers to me. That said, I don't condone the way you spoke to the live chat representative and I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did - I understand your frustration, but at the end of the day you have a responsibility to conduct yourself professionally. - Good Luck getting this resolved.
I had some other chats I am ashamed to post. I practically begged them to fix my situation.. This last time was an act of desperation.. I can't take it anymore! I have recently found out that I am not alone.. CirtexHosting puts too many clients on some of their shared web hosting accounts.
Because obviously some months passed since I got this package. And always I thought I won't ask for my money because Cirtex will fix it. Now so much time has passed that no one will take my side in a money back request.
You sound like a 6 year old who dropped his ice cream. I bet you have a 2.5usd plan and you expect to receive 100% uptime? Hah. Your attitude is outrageous, if I was in Paul's place I would just suspend your account and we would be done talking. If your mom ever told you to step by your words, go to "Bureau of Consumer Protection" and file a report, don't forget to post back here when you get kicked out of there office with your attitude.
Dude, if you woke up on the wrong side of the bed don't cum to threads like this and bitch about it. The truth is Cirtex Hosting "guarantees" 99.9% uptime. Guess what? If I get 98% uptime I am a lucky man. And in case your IQ is as low as it shows I will make it clear for you too. This post is a call to action. I already filed up a complaint. And cirtex hosting screws many innocent clients like me. So what if the plan does not cost a fortune? For $1/month in India I get high speed 99.9% uptime hosting. If you don't have anything good to say then put a cork in your mouth and go and see about your business And folks let's give it up for ORZ the big spender!! Maybe you'll get f*cked by things like this and you will understand my situation.. Maybe not. I will stop explaining myself now.
That's generally good advice for all life, but as you are aware, it's always easier to preach it than to practice it.
it sounds like you only have a few minutes of down time that can happen on a vps server from time to time maybe a few times a month thats just the reality of having a vps server. I personally think when your web hosting gets that serious you need a dedicated server and a vps for backups and development. A dedicated server is the only way to avoid such interruptions.
When a site is hosted in shared server you might face problem because of some other clients using high cpu, shared accounts have to compromise some time but not that much. So I would say don't waste your time with their support or to complaint file just for few $$, move on to someone else and try month to month plan until you are happy with service and support. hosting issues are common issues, to how many people you will fight or complaint ?

Generally, shared hosting is just only for the beginners. If your business depends on your website, then shared hosting is THE bad decision. Rule 1: "There is no such thing as unlimited hosting" Also, many shared hosts put mysql query limits. So your website would stop working when the load is more.
