I just read this article on seobook, by guest poster Ryan Durk. http://www.seobook.com/guest-post-super-digg-gaining-300k-hits-google-24-hours-january-1-tcp-ip It got me thinking about this whole "circular seo/smo" effect that he mentions. Because it really does seem like a pretty viable method for getting dugg. It's kind of a self-reinforcing process that allows one to use the power of search engines to influence the influencer's...if that makes sense. Instead of trying to find power accounts, I can just get my bookmark ranked, hope that anyone who searches for my keyphrase is a digg user, and finally hope that they digg the story. Of course, like any loophole, chances are this one will get gamed, then closed up by the end of the week. I went ahead and registered the related domain names anyway. circularseo.com circularsem.com circularsmo.com Not sure what I'm gonna do with them, but who knows maybe someone has some ideas out there. PM me.
