CIA & FBI are Wikipedia users

Wikipedia has installed a scanner called “wikiscanner” (very original name as you can see) to trace the source of the computers used to modify the site. They were surprised to find that computers from the CIA and the FBI have modified details about the war on Irak, Wantanamo Prison and ex-CIA boss William Colby’s bio. According to Wikipedia, these computers edited the number of soldiers that died, charts and maps about Wantanamo as well as improving Colby’s carrier and merits. Couldn’t you just used computers outside the building?

There´s a scandal here in Portugal because the PM biography as been changed in wikipedia after some scandals.

They traced who changed that and it seems it was a goverment employer.

PS: okey, they can scan/track IP´s but shouldn't the ip´s be secret? or at least keep unrevealed.
