Church owes Darwin apology over evolution, says senior Anglican

    This priest thinks that the Church of England should apologise on having "misunderstood" Darwin's theory.

    I rescue this quote:

    "It is hard to avoid the thought that the reaction against Darwin was largely based on what we would now call the 'yuk factor' - an emotional not an intellectual response - when he proposed a lineage from apes to humans."

    Some religious are willing to 'evolve' after all.

    Good for him, It's about time some of them started speaking out against the willful, self-inflicted idiocy of religion. I wont hold my breath though, They only admitted that the earth goes around the sun in the 90's, Nearly 400 years behind everyone else, so their track record isn't indicative of a mentality that is able to accept knowledge and scientific advancement, Especially if it contradicts their magical, primitive book of mythology.
