    i don't think there is official release date yet
    but they said Q4 of 2010

    there is event on 7th December announced by Google in Fransisco in other to give important news on Chrome... Then you will know... Just wait for 7the December

    So now I read, as xphunt3r says, that ChromeOS will have a limited release of ChromeOS on netbooks come Tuesday, but only 65K for close friends and family.

    Google chrome is the best browser as comparison to other because it is very much stable and reliable browser. It uses less memory than other browsers. Especially memory usage is clean as once you close a tab whole process is ended and all its memory is released.

    Yeah the OS is coming out eventually looks like they are doing live testing right now. Kind of like a beta, you can sign up and see if you can get a free chrome OS laptop but the chances of actually getting one are probably pretty slim. Itll be out soon just hang in there.
