Yeah. Google Chrome has the potential to become better than Mozilla Firefox but at the moment it just ain't all that good.

People like new things and being a Google product gives Chrome an edge. But in the longer run, the better product will be on top.

I think the only reason Chrome might be more popular than Firefox at the moment is just from people trying it, not because it's better.

I agree with you. Firefox is an established browser and has a big community. Don't expect to see Chrome win over it anytime soon.

If I compare before the launch of chrome it came at about 19 percent.
Ofcourse deviations are always there in calculations.

The mainbug i found in google crome is i can scroll down but not back up i have to use the side bar to scroll back up. Also the intraface isnt much good either you have to hunt for the settings you need. I contacted google crome bug team hopefully they will fix it and release it in the next update. Other then that its a great peaice of software.

I am not sure what calculations you are doing to come up with those figures.

I just had a look at the Analytics accounts for one of my sites, and this is what I got.

    4th Sep - 4th Oct

Seems a little bit different than your stats..
    Am I missing something?

    Cheers

Depends on the type of traffic.
I am just telling that actual penetration is 11 percent and people who move to a 2nd browser have an approval rating of 34 percent.

You would see actual results on long term rather than a month data.

Both give major differences than yours. I'd say that Chrome can't be used by more than 4% of users.
Millions would've downloaded it on the first day, used it than gone back their normal one. 1% seems more accurate (and that is still alot - assuming there is 1.5billion people using the internet [and there will most likely be more], 1% of 1.5bn = 15 000 000).

Your statistics are just very far-fetched, GUESTID
