Hi everyone , i opened this article here because it is the best place where we can find adult webmasters and adult popup adnetworks
people we need together to start looking for a solution , i used to have a big free adult tube in the past , i came back 2 months ago with a new website , already the revenues decreased by more than 50% and DMCA making the work very hard and risky
and now GOOGLE decided officialy to kill adult free tubes and torrent websites by declaring that it will block popups
we need together to have a solution , block chrome visitors or anything else , already google is a monopole and the life of websites depends now on google , and this will make all webmasters slaves to google
when the internet came together in the past many times , it showed that it can change things , i came from a 3rd world country , we had a revolution in 2011 and the people gathered together and were able to kill a dictatorship that lasted many years
we can together change things , it will not easy war but we must start it because google decided to kill us free publishers , advertisers and adnetworks

Adult business is going down and down for last 1 year and so ... this is the reason i stop and move different niches ... i suggest to start a different type of websites adult will go down a lot and the only websites who will survive are the big ones ( possible ) or websites like porn lists because they don't need to use popups to make money example ( theporndude.com ) but most of tubes websites will be the end.

Agreed. I am not sure what chances there are to make a difference, but we will try.
I have people working on a website that will basically inform webmasters and visitors what are the impacts of google actions as well as give webmasters tools to block Google Chrome. I believe that's the first step.

I do not think that running is the right way. At some point you won't have anywhere to run to.

If all adult websites will begin for add a simple alert with "Chrome not is supported. Switch browser for watch this video." probably Chrome's popularity will drop.

Not really, because will be other websites out there who will allow Chrome users like PornHub Redtube etc ... and people will learn to go just to them ... I'm sure the big adult company will not block Chrome users because most of them they don't even use popups codes and Pornhub have their own advertise network via banners what will be easy for them to fix their own websites.

Then, maybe, the only chance is to do some technical magic for open popup also with the AdBlocker. :D

hi Tomksoft , how are you doing i worked with you in a middle big website ( one ranked between 10000 and 20000 in alexa ) and i got a technical problem so i stopped , i made good money with popads though , i added the new website to popads since a month ago and i agree , cpm decreased a lot but it is a little bit better those days , anyway i am not just trying to make money now , i am focusing on building a good website for visitors
i see this is a better solution "disable chrome adblocker to view this page" or a technology like the one used now to bypass adblocker , but i dont know how chrome will do .
torrent and adult tubes and free content websites will never die , and the old days of illegal websites is gone , now websites like mine are legal and respond to every legal issue , people will go to redtube etc etc etc but they will come after some time if you make your website rich and good

The way I see is Millions or almost Billions of USD business vs Chrome Browser so the winner will be? Ofcourse the money :) Let's be serious hackers these days broke all servers/websites etc even NASA servers with a lot of security ... and they can't pass an adblocker on chrome :)

Google is trying to kill popups from a long time ago, but they're still far from a reliable solution. I actually developed multiple popup/popunder ad codes in the past and each update they left a small solution for the popup. I think they actually can't do this as it's blackhat advertising and they're giving a rough time to webmasters which are using popups/popunders. For a small website, a penalty or something similar would be pretty bad - but for an established one, a google penalty won't hurt so much.
Anyway, they can try to block the popups/popunders but I don't think they can actually block it for good.

    Regards,
    Steve

as an expert Steve you think that the revenues are going to decrease or increase in the long term , not just talking about chrome adblock , but the whole online advertising business had secreased a lot in 2016 , did companies like yours started thinking about solutions
no one expected Rome to fall , it happened suddenly , that is why there must be a plan B always

It's actually really interesting what will happen to pop networks. Also, I don't understand how Google will justify keeping the ads on YouTube, since it's exactly what they said they will block - Prestitial ads with countdown.

There is always another thought. You just develop are real business model. Popups are crap and do nothing but chase away users. I have had websites since 2001, have never once used popups and always managed to make a profit in the adult industry as well as others. Popups are a business model that is at least a decade or two old. If the larger companies can make money off from not using popups anyone can. Popups are for those that are just looking for a quick dollar without any real long term business plan. Make a user actually want to come back day after day for years and you will make far more than just off a few pop impressions because they aren't coming back to your site. No offense, but you can't complain that large companies like google are against popups when your popups ruin their users experience with their search engine. It's funny that you don't want to play along with Google's rules but it's a "war" or bad business when they don't want to play by your rules. Google doesn't owe you a living, either play by their rules or don't expect to get traffic form them. I personally wouldn't link to your sites either, if they have popups.

I posted about this a few weeks ago. Google has now determined that it will be the judge and jury as to what advertisements are suitable. In other words, Google will start blocking advertisements other than its own or those that aren't simple text link ads.

I cannot understand why you webmasters dance to Google's beat allowing that mega corporation to screw up the entire internet and your livelihoods so Google can enrich ITSELF.

Time to push back against Evil Google.

Popups work. That is why they are used. I don't like popups, but only an idiot would say they "ruin the user experience". I would rather close one popup than have a bunch of ugly Adsense text link ads cluttering the page or worse, embedded within content.

What will you do if Google determines that your sites/advertisements are not proper? Or do you only use Google's own ad network?
