Christmas Tree

Bought my first ever Christmas tree today. It's a 6ft prelit tree... not real!

What does your tree look like and do you get a real tree?

 

Get a real 8ft tree as we have quite large ceilings in our house, nothing better than the smell of a real tree, artificial ones just arnt the same, I have a small 5ft artificial one for the dining room but would always go for a real one.

 

we got a 6ft tree not the real one though...
but still needs to be put up and decorated...

 

I usually don't buy my inside tree until after Thanksgiving because I don't want it to dry out before Christmas. You might get a chuckle out of the "christmas tree" I had outside last year - complete with pink flamingo's! ;-)

 

I have a fiber optic tree. The lights change to all colors of the rainbow in a real slow pattern; its very nice. About 7' tall or so. This is the second year in my house, first year dragging it down from the attic; I just pray the thing still works

 

After thanksgiving we'll have a real tree, an 8 footer. My kids love Xmas trees.

3ft here as well... Need it to be low so that my kids can help me decorate...

 

Is the tree actually blue and white?

 

We've used the same tree for the last 10 years, but this year the rugrats want a real one.

 

I think once we get our first house next year we'll probably get a real tree. For now though there's not really enough room plus we have to go up stairs to get to the living room

 

No - its green.

But in retrospect, there's a market waiting to be tapped!

 

I understand that upside christmas trees are the rage right now. Has anyone gotten one of those yet?

Real ones in the gardens, fake ones in my places.

Only my gf wants a real one in her house, which I can't appreciate that much as she buys trees with no roots and can't be placed in the garden after Christmas.

It's trees for people that should be smacked upside the head for buying them.

I agree MM. It really does look silly. Is it for people that cant be bothered thinking about what to put on top of the tree?

 

I think you put the presents on top so the kids can't get at them.
