Christmas is good or bad season for affiliate program ?

Our best traffic was on Dec. 7th 2006. Like best _ever_, normalized for all our affiliate sites. Nov 27th to Dec. 21st were very good. Things started going south after that, with Dec 31st the worst day in 6 months. Things started picking up around 10th of Jan, and seem to be back to normal. If there is interest, I would be happy to post a graph of the trend. I am not allowed to give actual numbers, but I can tell you that my numbers are statistically significant(over 10K unique visitors/day and sales over 500K in Dec. 2006). This is true of US traffic. I would imagine the patterns are different in other countries, such as Taiwan, China etc.
