Wow, I have now seen 2 big stores starting to sell all kind of Christmas decoration... I can't understand why, no one I can think of would consider buying a Christmas ornament right now, so the idea seems just ridiculous...

Have you seen anything similar in your city?

Some people celebrate Christmas in the summer time. It’s mostly for financial reasons. They have to end up spending a lot of money for extended family and associates so they’re pretty tapped out in December. They end up being able to save up more money and have a better “Christmas” in the summer for their immediate family.

I know a few people that do it.

I have never heard of that Hodgedup. Usually in the UK Christmas wrapping paper starts to appear by the end of August.

I starting stocking up on the Christmas booze yesterday... A bottle of Havanna Club and some Sloe Gin... but there's only 2 shots of gin left so I'll have to get another one... hic!

As soon as the "back to school" rush is over they'll want to try force us to consume for Christmas, so yeah, August/September is about right...

In canada, you can decide when Christmas is right for you! All year around the weather is just right, some people dont take off their decorations at all
