I guess the answer to whether Christians think they are the moral authority is: Morman "Christians" claim they are, and a minority of fundamental Christians seem to think they are, but the majority of mainstream Christians do not believe they are the moral authority, although they try hard to be moral and ethical.
I thought Col had posted but I guess you just went 2 times in a row! if not the Christians then who would you nominate?
Sorry lol, he was taking too long Orthodox Jews. Their whole purpose in life is to be as close to 100% moral as possible. I respect their morality and ethics greatly.
I think it's already like next Tuesday where he lives OJ's, old school Being moral will only get you so far, at least in God's eyes, but that might be 7 other topics right there!
Me? A Mormon.....ROFL....hehehehe....now that's hilarious....now where's those Golden Tablets again....hmmmm Col
No God = No peace Many gods = confusion Humans rules = Always BH players Original quote: "He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him." proverbs 13:24 Actually the Bible implies that when you dedicate yourself on something, someone, your job, or whatever might be, you are worshipping it. The Word also says about true worshipper who are to worship God spirit and in truth. So, basically if you are not worshipping God, you are worshipping something else. Whatever your mind is so occupided with. Maybe BH SEO in your case?
So... what denomination are you? By Mormon I was including LDS. Wasn't meaning you were a Fundamental Mormon. Why are being so cryptic and trying to confuse people into thinking you are mainstream Christian by posting your "theology" as "Christian"? That's the only reason I'm even bugging you about this. Some of what you say is just plain opposite of what most Christians believe, but you say it like it's mainstream. BTW, you always seem like a nice guy and end your posts with a smile, so nothing personal, just trying to help not confuse some people who might really be wondering what Prodestant Christian views are.
Nevermind, I realize now that you are Jehovah's Witness. Still, you guys teach some very different things then mainstream Christians, like no trinity, no hell, etc... so why try to confuse people? Are you ashamed of being a Jehovah's Witness?
It's only confusing to those who don't want to learn what the Bible really teaches. Jehovah's Witnesses certainly don't teach mainstream doctrine. That's why the world is in such a mess because of mainstream doctrine. We would rather teach what Jesus taught. After all, he is the Son of God and he lead the best example of all. According to the Bible of course. Me? Ashamed of being a Witness? Never. I made a public dedication in front of 60,000 in Sydney nearly 4 years ago and have never looked back. I publicly declare Jehovah's great and holy name wherever I can and to whom will listen. Just like the prophets of old did. Amos, Micah, Obadiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, Habakkuk etc.. Why do I do this? Because of two scriptures. Matthew 24:14 and Matthew 28:19-20. There's only organization that is doing this to the letter and that is Jehovah's Witnesses. Many other claim they are doing door to door work. But in fact, they are not "preaching the good news of the kingdom" and not "baptising in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit". Do some research and analysis and you will see what I am saying here could not be any more true. Col
Christianity is the most sensible religion, but i think Judaism is there aswell. Christians are not the moral authority alone. It is an evolution from Judaism. Christians are very close to Jews. But i think a world in the hands of christians would be a safe place.
I'm an ACTUAL member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon church). Here's something to sort this all out: Fact 1: Fundamentalist LDS (FLDS) members are NOT "Mormons". They will claim this, but they are not. LDS and Mormons are one in the same, and nobody else. Fact 2: Not 100% of Mormons are free from corruption. Nobody is perfect. Fact 3: We do NOT condemn other Christians to eternal death... and we also believe it is not our place to judge whether others are righteous or not. Fact 4: We ARE Christians, but that doesn't mean other Christians aren't. Fact 5: As for the cult thing, we're not a cult... period.
