comcenter your bid of $3600 is now the default bid should I not go through with buying the site (which I will be) and your bid of $3100 cannot be valid because you already bid $3600 and forced me into $4000

Otherwise why did you make a $3600 bid if the highest you'll go to is $3100?

I bid $4k because you pushed it to $3600 - Had you bid $3100 then I may have bid $3500

Why did you raise it so much in one go only to drop your 'standby' bid so dramatically? It's very unfair on me and is borderline to making you look bad.

 

I had an ongoing Bid of $3,100 before you came along making Bids of $500 dollar increments. The fact that I am not acknowledging those Bids, and neither am I acknowledging the Bid from the guy with the negative itrader, leaves me with my standing Bid of $3,100.

It would be a good idea if the OP came online a little more often and confirmed some of these bids.

 

I am at liberty to bid in any increments I choose and I chose $500. If you did not want to go over $3100 then you should not have bid $3600

I thought about this some more, and I think you're right. I have no reason to believe your bids are not for real, after all your reputation speaks for itself.

I will standby my last bid of $3,600.

So the current bid is 4100. I am going to allow the bid from the blueaether even though he is -1 itrader after speaking with him.

I am going to allow the auction to proceed until 6/3 at which time I will set a BIN.
