Wow.. that would a cold blood murder..
He killed his wife, then took a day to decide the fate of his son, and take almost a day to gather courage to end his own life.

Apparently he didnt want to go to the prison..

Why would they pay any sort of tribute to this man?? Yes Im sure he was much loved in the wrestling world, but really??? A 3 Hour Tribute to a murderer? A murderer that took his whole families lives including his 7 year old son. Its Pathetic.

They were unaware of the circumstances when they had the 3 hour tribute

I wish these wrestlers could just kill themselves without involving other people.

In fact, I wish they WOULD! :D

Not roid-rage but it could be chemical imbalances due to 'roid usage.

Ok. I'm going to play devil's advocate here (just for the sake of doing so).

What if... someone else killed his wife and son, and he came home afteword, placed the bibles next to his wife and son, then took his own life.

Just remember that we weren't there, we don't know anything about what happened, other than what's been released by the Fayetteville PD (and bear in mind this was likely a preliminary investigation).

I don't even trust the media at this point.

Atually its been a concern for a while now.. All the wrestlers travel a lot in order to keep the shows up and going. The dont get time to take proper rest for months and sometimes not enough to get over jet lag even.
And when it couples with bone crunching in-ring action it multiplies the stress. Even if they dont take hardcore roides, usage of anti-stress and relaxation meds are very usual.
But in long run its too harmful.

Strange, Edie and Chris always were good friends, both died young and withing an year.

Did you even think, how idiotic it sounds? (Not placing offense on you, personally, but on your argument).
Someone else first killed his wife then waited for a day before he kills his son, then waited again for a day before he kills Benoit? and what were Benoit doing? sleeping? And Why didnt Benoit ask for help when he was contacted by WWE personnels on Saturday and Sunday?

For a moment, I assume that that sopmeone else was forcing Benoit to not to open mouth by threatening him on his son's life (as the suspect must have killed Benoit's wife already). Why didnt Benoit ask for help when he texted WWE co-worker?

If you say it wasnt Benoit who sent the text, then Why would the suspect text the real address of Benoit to WWE co-worker?

I'm curious why WWE is hitting the "not steroids" angle so hard here, when they should be focusing on the real story. Do they give their wrestlers steroids to make them bigger and just trying to allay fears within their own locker room?

    Apparently to save face...

Definitely WWE is not cleaned hand with roids. If anyone is saying that all WWE stars got that size and energy naturally I'd say Wake up pal.

Did you stop to notice that I was playing devil's advocate just to illustrate how stupid speculation in general sounds (which I thought I had made clear with my own rebuttal in that same post)?

    Here we go.

Eddie Guerrero, another wrestler in the WWE, died in 2005. Cause of death was steroids, from the coroner.

It's apparent that most of the wrestlers do steroids. Most of the wrestlers die before they turn 45.

More wrestlers from my knowledge have died from overdoses of drugs such as pain killers not steroids, much like rock stars. But yeah they are big so it's gotta be roids

Do you really think those guys have the discipline required to build a body like that without "help"?
You said it yourself that many died from overdoses, which means they don't live a healthy life. I don't think living like a "rockstar" goes well with bodybuilding.
